[On the afternoon of the 21st, a message appears on the network.]

Hi everybody! I just wanted to wish you all a happy holiday and let you know that I'm going to be bringing a bunch of you each a present. Try not to knock the boxes around too much, OK? What's inside might break if you do.

[Later that day, a number of apprentices will find packages left on their doorsteps labeled To: (Their Name) From: Leia. The packages are smallish solid color gift boxes with a metallic sheen and are tied shut with a white ribbon. Inside, they'll each find a unique mug, along with a note explaining that Leia had used Wishful magic on the mugs so that whatever liquid is put in them- hot or cold- always stays the perfect temperature for drinking, and inviting them to try them out.

Dreamfinder and Merlin also get mugs (Figment gets a smaller one that matches Dreamfinder's) which will be delivered to them at the castle, either by Leia personally (if possible), or via being dropped off with the guards at the gates to be delivered by someone at the castle later (if not).]

((OOC: Mug recipients are:

Nate, Shadow Weaver, Jose, Beetlejuice, (movie) Lydia, Mal, Harry, Drake, Elena, Dreamfinder (and Figment), and Merlin.

Jose might also find himself in the possession of several otherwise plain-looking mugs that now do things like change color, play a little tune, or glow bright blue when filled with liquid: Leia's early experiments that didn't come out quite the way she wanted.

Feel free to have characters reply to the post either before or after they've received their gifts.))

[Leia appears on the network on the afternoon of the 29th, looking very excited about something.]

Everybody! Guess what? I got taller!

[She points the mirror down at her ankles, so everyone can see that the pants she's wearing are a couple centimetres too short.]

See? these are the pants I was wearing when I got here. They fit just right then, but now they're too short. So that means I grew!

[And clearly she felt the need to share this earth-shaking news with everyone.

The next section is switched to a private channel though.]

Locked to Lydia (the first)

Hey Lydia? Remember when you asked me to tell you when my name day was on the calendar here? Well, I figured it out; it's August 7th.

...Sorry if that doesn't give you too much time.

[Judging by the size of her surroundings, Leia has also been shrunk, like a number of other apprentices. But while one side of her appears to show a normal sized room- ie huge, now- the other seems to show furniture and the like that's relatively normal sized- ie tiny scale.]

Hey everybody! I know some other people are shrunk too, so anybody who's shrunk and needs someplace safe to stay til they get big again can come stay in my dollhouse with me. I even used some magic to make it so the bathroom stuff works! I'm in room 4A, if anybody doesn't know.

[Leia appears on the network with a notebook in her hands, her hair pulled back in a single braid, as it usually is when she's trying to look more serious.]

OK... Now that we're all back from our missions, as a Princess, I think I should give everyone an update on the whole situation with Mr. Dreamfinder and the Corroded station.

We know that Mr. Dreamfinder and Figment have been missing for a while now. I don't know if anybody knows exactly how long it's been, but we do know it's been over a month, at least. And since Mr. Dreamfinder wouldn't go off somewhere and not tell anyone for that long on purpose, it's safe to say that he's in trouble. Either somebody took him somewhere, or he went somewhere and something happened that he can't get back.

And I think it's pretty safe to say that he's not on Main Street too. Nobody here's seen him, and Lydia and I talked to the animals and bugs in the castle; neither had they. And even Hades would've said something once the station got Corroded if he knew where he was; Hades might be a bad guy, but if anything happens to Main Street, he's in as much trouble as the rest of us.

And I think we can rule out the bayou too, at least for now. There's too many monsters for anybody to want to take him there, or for him to want to go there himself. And him and Figment would be too easy to notice; everything there is dark and spooky, and they're... really not.

That leaves the jungle. There's more evidence for him being there too though, besides just process of emilination.

[She looks at the notebook.]

...Sorry: e-lim-in-ation.

[She gives a small, satisfied smile at having gotten around the difficult word before continuing.]

First, the bugs and animals Lydia and I talked to said they saw weird pink and green lights fluttering around the entrance to the jungle. And at the festival a little while ago, I heard music that sounded like it should be from Main Street coming from the booths and stuff in the jungle section, with no speakers or anything there to be playing it. I asked around a little, and I wasn't the only one who heard it either, so it was real and not just in my head. With everything else happening, those things can't just be for no reason.

We need to find Mr. Dreamfinder and Figment. Not just because they're our friends, but because I don't think that me and the other Princes and Princesses can fix up the station like we did the jungle without him here. Not in a way that would stick, anyway. So if anybody has any ideas  about how we should do that, or any more information they think might help, we'd all be glad to hear it. Thank you.

[It's late in the evening when Leia appears on the mirrors. Not ridiculously so, but late enough that a child her age should probably be in bed. Well, technically she was in her bed, she just wasn't sleeping. Or making any attempt to sleep. But yay technicalities?]

Hey, everybody. I've been wondering about something for awhile, and I kinda want to know what you all think.

There's people here from lots of different worlds, right? Other planets, even whole other universes. So how come we can all talk to each other without having to learn each other's languages? And how come we can all read the books and signs and things here?

'Cause you all sound like you're speaking Basic to me, but if you're not from my galaxy, then you can't really be speaking it, 'cause there's no way you'd know it. And everything looks like it's written in Basic to me too, but that can't be what it really is either for the same reason; nobody here should even know what Basic is. So how could everything looks and sounds that way?

[Leia had ideas for most all of her friends' Christmas presents, with two very notable exceptions. Fortunately, she also had a plan to solve this issue.]

Locked to Aziraphale

Mr. Aziraphale? This is Leia. I have an important question, and you seem like the best person to ask.

See, I want to get Mr. Crowley a present for Christmas, but I don't what to get him. So I wanted to ask you, what kind of things does he like? Maybe that'll help me get some ideas.

Locked to Crowley

Hi, Mr. Crowley. This is Leia. I need to ask you something.

See, I want to get Mr. Aziraphale a present for Christmas, but I don't know the kinds of things he likes. I was wondering if you could help me with some ideas? I don't want to get him something he won't like, after all.
