Video- Evening of the 25th
Apr. 25th, 2020 10:10 pm[Leia appears on the network with a notebook in her hands, her hair pulled back in a single braid, as it usually is when she's trying to look more serious.]
OK... Now that we're all back from our missions, as a Princess, I think I should give everyone an update on the whole situation with Mr. Dreamfinder and the Corroded station.
We know that Mr. Dreamfinder and Figment have been missing for a while now. I don't know if anybody knows exactly how long it's been, but we do know it's been over a month, at least. And since Mr. Dreamfinder wouldn't go off somewhere and not tell anyone for that long on purpose, it's safe to say that he's in trouble. Either somebody took him somewhere, or he went somewhere and something happened that he can't get back.
And I think it's pretty safe to say that he's not on Main Street too. Nobody here's seen him, and Lydia and I talked to the animals and bugs in the castle; neither had they. And even Hades would've said something once the station got Corroded if he knew where he was; Hades might be a bad guy, but if anything happens to Main Street, he's in as much trouble as the rest of us.
And I think we can rule out the bayou too, at least for now. There's too many monsters for anybody to want to take him there, or for him to want to go there himself. And him and Figment would be too easy to notice; everything there is dark and spooky, and they're... really not.
That leaves the jungle. There's more evidence for him being there too though, besides just process of emilination.
[She looks at the notebook.]
...Sorry: e-lim-in-ation.
[She gives a small, satisfied smile at having gotten around the difficult word before continuing.]
First, the bugs and animals Lydia and I talked to said they saw weird pink and green lights fluttering around the entrance to the jungle. And at the festival a little while ago, I heard music that sounded like it should be from Main Street coming from the booths and stuff in the jungle section, with no speakers or anything there to be playing it. I asked around a little, and I wasn't the only one who heard it either, so it was real and not just in my head. With everything else happening, those things can't just be for no reason.
We need to find Mr. Dreamfinder and Figment. Not just because they're our friends, but because I don't think that me and the other Princes and Princesses can fix up the station like we did the jungle without him here. Not in a way that would stick, anyway. So if anybody has any ideas about how we should do that, or any more information they think might help, we'd all be glad to hear it. Thank you.

You have thought to break into his room at the Castle and root around? Maybe he left a clue or something.
Re: Video
Date: 2020-05-09 02:24 am (UTC)And I wouldn't break anything of his; he's my friend. [Pause] I did look around and see if I could find an extra key or something though; there wasn't one.

Date: 2020-05-09 02:35 am (UTC)But, I am glad some one thought to check his room. At least we know he didn't die in there. That happens to humans some times, suddenly.

But I'm sure that didn't happen because Figment would have told us if it did, just like Mr. Dreamfinder would've said something if something happened to Figment suddenly. And if anything happened in there that could hurt both of them that badly, someone else at the castle would have noticed something, and nobody did.

[ He let that drift off because no one had heard when the witches had attacked either. They only found out about it because Figment had managed to escape. Maybe he hadn't this time. ]
Maybe we could go in another way. Through the window or under the door, something.

Date: 2020-05-20 02:05 am (UTC)I don't think anybody could get under the door, except maybe some of the bugs that Lydia can talk too, and they wouldn't know what to look for. Though they could at least check if anybody was in there.
[She made a note to ask Lydia about it later on.]
A window might work, though; I'll have to check and see if his room has any outside windows.

Date: 2020-04-26 07:43 pm (UTC)Also, the one Lydia was worried about. Which, truthfully, was the only reason the guy was even on Beetlejuice’s radar. He hadn’t actively pissed him off, like Hades, or “lied” to him like Merlin, but, he was still part of the drag-people-from-other-realms thing.
“Well, that’s great. The kidnappers go missing, and their abductees have to go find ‘em. Why aren’t his buddies in charge looking for him?”
Re: Video
Date: 2020-05-09 02:35 am (UTC)"Merlin and Hades have to stay and take care of things here," she said. "One of them could probably do it, but I don't think Merlin trusts Hades to go looking or to not cause trouble if he went looking himself. And I don't either really. So we need to do it."
"See, Mr. Dreamfinder isn't just my friend, he's a Kingdom Spirit," she explained. "I don't completely know how it works, but if something bad happens to him, it'll be really bad for us and everybody else here too."
Re: Video
Date: 2020-05-09 01:31 pm (UTC)He tapped his wrists against his legs.
“If something is powerful enough to nab him, that ain’t good for us.”
Re: Video
Date: 2020-05-20 02:09 am (UTC)I'm sure he wouldn't stay away this long on purpose, though, so whatever happened, he's probably in trouble.

Date: 2020-04-28 04:52 am (UTC)[When the location was narrowed down, he sighed tiredly.] Jungle. Of COURSE it is. [He'd never had much luck with the jungle.
The less said about that disaster of a first mission the better. And... wait. Wasn't one of the other missions at that time to FIND the Dreamfinder?!So he'd gotten himself lost, or something, in the jungle... AGAIN. This time the facepalm was deliberate.]Well, I'm up to try to help find him. The more looking for him, the better, right? [And hey. At least this time they had some experience under their belt... That should make things a little easier, right? Right...?]
Re: [Video]
Date: 2020-05-09 02:49 am (UTC)Yeah. Though I'm pretty sure he didn't go anywhere on purpose this time. Or if he did, that he didn't mean to stay away this long.
[Leia sighs.]
And I'm pretty sure him being missing does have something to do with what's going on on Main Street. That's why it's extra important to find him and Figment; so we can fix what's wrong.
Yeah, I have a feeling we're gonna need as many people as we can get to help. So I really appreciate it. And I'm sure Mr. Dreamfinder and Figment will too.
