A small announcement (backdated to Saturday)

[Judging by the size of her surroundings, Leia has also been shrunk, like a number of other apprentices. But while one side of her appears to show a normal sized room- ie huge, now- the other seems to show furniture and the like that's relatively normal sized- ie tiny scale.]

Hey everybody! I know some other people are shrunk too, so anybody who's shrunk and needs someplace safe to stay til they get big again can come stay in my dollhouse with me. I even used some magic to make it so the bathroom stuff works! I'm in room 4A, if anybody doesn't know.

And ab...abdomnible means it's really bad, right?

[Kind of a hard word for someone her age, but she can gather the basic meaning from context.]

[She might have known. She was a princess after all].

It means I'm at my wits end, yes. If it is not one thing it is another in this place.

Uh-huh! It's part of my Princess magic. The Lydia who's a Princess can do it too, but she mostly talks to bugs.

And yeah, lots of weird stuff happens here, but when it does I try to have fun with it. Or help people who can't, like I'm doing now.

Fascinating. Bugs, you say? I can imagine that coming in handy for the squeamish.

Ah. How noble, princess. Given the circumstances of the situation, there are bound to be those who have an aversion to this. "Weird stuff."

Yeah; Lydia likes them though. She likes all kinds of dark, spooky stuff.

It kind of depends on what kind of weird stuff's happening, but yeah, lots of people don't like it. So I figured that somebody should try an make it a little easier for them, you know?

Fascinating. Then again, there are some of us who are nothing but dark and spooky.

Perhaps it depends on the kind of world they have been brought from.

I bet I know something about you that isn't dark and spooky.

But yeah, stuff like this could never happen where I'm from. We don't really have magic there.

And what might that be?

It may be related more to the actual people rather than just their abilities. I would think if they could just take magic from other worlds they would, but it seems they require more than just that.

Flowers! You like to take care of the flowers in the castle garden, and there's nothing spooky about flowers.

[She nods.]

Yeah, it's not just magic, it's imagination. We have different ways of thinking about stuff and doing stuff than the people here do, and if I understand things right, that's part of what makes our Sparks stronger and harder to Corrode.

Yeah it shouldn't be too long. I got turned into a giant back in April so I figure this'll be about the same.

Yep! Wishful magic can do lots of stuff once you get the hang of it. If you try to do too much at once though you'll end up falling asleep, so you need to be careful.

Yeah... I'll keep that in mind. I'm still pretty impressed. I wouldn't have even thought of tryin' that.

Well I bet you'll be able to do stuff with your magic that I wouldn't have thought of too. That's what's great about having magic based on imagination; everybody's is a bit different.

That's a good point. I bet we can use it to our advantage too, when it comes down to the serious fights. Different minds and different magic means we'll be harder to take down.

Nah, it's OK. And you're right; I think that may be why people from all kinds of different worlds get brought here.
