Isn’t it great?  I, for one, am enjoying the swap from bubbles to the not-so-recently-deceased.

I’m just enjoying the fact they can go around without ending up on Saturn and risk being eaten by Sandworms.

They’re pranking the locals. Some of them, at least.

Yeah, I've seen that. Them leaping out from behind things to startle people and shouting boo... I think you and I could give them something more creative to do, don't you?

....although, I suppose I could do a free consultation or two, to drum up future business.

Even if it does work it's not very creative...

We could encourage them to do something different like haunt the cafe's coffee maker, get a few spooky skeleton horses pulling the carriages... take over the castle and turn it into a haunted mansion for a month. It could do for a change from all that bright white princess-y design.

Well, in fairness and full disclosure, I didn’t work for cash, I worked for ghosties trying to get the living to say my Name.

Money’s stupid and I resent having to use the stuff.

To be fair, I rather deal with ghosts flying all over Main Street than seeing bad memories in bubbles. I ran into a rather friendly chap who was quite talkative during my lunch break earlier.

It’s nice to see a world where they can leave their homes without being eaten.

Fair enough, I have my fair share of ghosts coming by in my world. So I get what you are talking about, Beetlejuice. There are loads of ghosts who roam around my old school, and some of them may have a lot of emotional baggage in them before they died. (If only BJ knows of Moaning Myrtle...)

(Then he sees the ghosts being eaten part)

Eaten? Are you telling me that ghosts can be eaten up? By what?

Sandworms.

When ghosts leave their homes, they are transported to Saturn. And unless they leave quickly, they’re eaten by a Sandworm.

...they’re basically giant snakes with Russian nesting doll heads.

Well, that is one race of creatures I never got to read about in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them textbook. My friend Hermione will be shocked about this if she learns about it. And she is more studious in her studies than I do.

I still haven't decided what kind of ghost I wanna be, though. Do I haunt those that ended my mortal coil? Do I pick a sacred place and guard it for all time? Or do I get mistaken for a soul crying out for vengeance when in truth I'm trying to guide heroes onto the proper path?

Revenge hauntings are fun, can’t lie. I think you’d get bored guarding a place, unless it was a place you really liked.

Heroes are kinda in short supply, that could be a long wait.

As I was telling another gentleman, though - they don't seem to be unfriendly. Is there a place from whence they're coming? I've made attempts at exploring what is accessible, but I haven't been everywhere.

Normally our incorporeal pals stay in a mansion in the bayou. Kinda nice to see a world where ghosts can leave their place of residence.
