 Hey guys! Been a while, I've been laying low planning some epic stuff and definitely not being overwhelmed by the fact over how long I've been missing my family. EVERYTHING'S FINE.

And in the spirit of everything is fine, I decided to throw my all into a SUPER BANQUET! Sure, the newbies get stuff provided by the town, but why not eat something made by your experienced adventurers? And so I present, the all-together-eating-table!

[ In Main Street, Webby rips off the sheet to a table, revealing... the stuff nightmares are made of. Seriously, nothing looks edible. She... tried, clearly, but she's also clearly veryveryvery new to the whole cooking thing. Some things are burnt, undercooked, too much sugar in one, salt overflowing in another... One must shudder to imagine what the kitchen she used looks like...] 

I'll be on Main Street all day, offering my goodies and my friendship! Bon appetit!

That depends on if you're the one doing the raising or the one being raised.

Let's say I have this friend... who tragically lost the best, coolest, most amazing, wonderful person she ever met to a shadows and a pure evil sorceress...

[She nods, pursing her lips as if she doesn't see straight through this weak little facade.]

Mmm-hmmm. Go on.

And this friend is trying to look into all kinds of dark magic to try and bring her back, but she keeps getting nowhere with her research....

Mmm. I see, I see.

[Missy nods, knowingly.]

Now when you say shadows.... are you speaking literally or figuratively?

[woo_oo]

Literally. She was made out of someone's shadow.

How curious. I can't say I've heard of such a thing before. Is that her natural state?

[woo_oo]

I don't think so... I only learned about it before she was gone.

I mean, my friend did. I mean -

[ Aw, to heck with it, she wasn't pulling off the ruse anyway. ]

Look, an evil sorceress created her out of her own shadow to try and enact plans to restore herself, and get revenge on the one who accidentally sealed her away. But the shadow became her own wonderful, amazing, perfect person!

[Missy didn't react to Webby's admission. Dear, she'd already figured that much out. But she was intrigued. She tilts her head.]

A magic shadow that gained its own sentience? That certainly is a new one. Seems to me that the sorceress who created her failed to take into account the influences of the outside world may have on said shadow.

[woo_oo]

She sure did. The sorceress - Magica De Spell - sent the shadow - Lena - after me as a way to get into McDuck Manor. But she didn't count on our friendship getting real.

[These names... ah well.]

And your... friendship... turned the shadow good?

[woo_oo]

Yes! I showed Lena she could be herself, and not what anyone forced her to be.

Such a thing is possible. The Doctor did something similar, actually. Though with something more advanced than a... shadow. He's not quite there, yet, though.

Do you think he could help me out? Trying to get her back?

[not_so_different]

[She shrugged.]

Possibly. If I recall correctly, it was mostly just getting her to remember who she was. Retaining her memories helped dam up the changes.

[woo_oo]

Oh, I didn't even consider that... If I brought her back, maybe Lena would lose her memories...

... Well, we'll deal with t! I'll help her with that if it happens!

You can also use the good memories to bring her back from the shadows. Memory manipulation is a very useful tactic, actually. It can be easily used to control someone.

Wait, I don't want to control her! Then that'd make me no better than Magica!
