[Crowley tilted his head at the screen, feeling the odd weight of the new set of antlers resting on his head. ]

What is this Midsummer Night's Dream? Should I strike a pose?

[Whether he should or not he did! And with an appropriately 'garden' type backdrop and sank into a soliloquy.]

[He snorted a laugh before holding up his hand upon which two different rings were battling it out for a place on his finger. An inexpensive black ring with a single white diamond sat beside a more expensive looking black ring encircled by white diamonds.]

Bizarre and damned annoying monster transformations aside I actually have one of those odd married persons questions. You have the wedding ring and the engagement ring... do you wear both? Pick one? I feel like I should set the first one aside, in a jewelry box or something, but it's kinda special. Not that the other one isn't! But the wedding ring hasn't been magically blessed like the smaller one. Opinions, go.

[She'd talked to Lydia enough to get who he was talking about...also, technically Aziraphale was pretty much her boss so...]

Oh, I see. It's connected to the person who made it. That makes it much more precious than your average engagement ring or magical ring really.

[ It would not have been at all difficult to have run across several rumors about the angel and the demon. They had not been very discrete about their relationship at all. ]

Yeah, exactly. Maybe I could wear that one as a necklace. That way I would always have it around.

Right! That way you could wear them both!

Necklace is a bit normal... But, its an idea.

Well sure, but why not update the necklace too?

Update the necklace? I'm curious, what sort of update did you have in mind?

I don't know all of what each of our magics can do, but it seems to me that if your angel can create a special ring that can ease your transformation, you have the ability to create magic on an object yourself. Maybe as a monster, it can help to grant the person wearing it some immunity.

[Of course, now she's suggesting what Crowley might be able to help Aziraphale with, rather than what a necklace would do for HIMSELF].

Back at home I might have been able to do something like that but here my magic is different. Here I can mostly do transformation magic, turning one thing into another. Blessings are more the business of fairies and Princes.

Oh. Well darn, there goes my idea.

Now turning one thing into another, how does that work?

Standard transformation.

[ He reached over to flick a leaf of some unsuspecting plant. It was wilted anyway so it seemed a fine enough target. ]

That's a leaf right now but if I decide for it to be something else...

[ He snapped his fingers and the leaf turned into an apple, nevermind that it now hung from a blueberry bush ]

I can turn it into anything I like.

[Connie DID note that it was on a blueberry bush, but figured it really didn't matter all that much].

There's always making something specifically tailored to him.

[ He considered telling the girl that he had once made Aziraphale a pair of silk PJs which the angel was still very much in love with but... that might have been a little too much for even a demon like him to admit. His grin just shifted into a knowing smirk. ]

It's something to keep in mind.

[Connie would have found that hopelessly cute so yes, good call on that one].

Good luck. I bet in a place like this its hard to find someone you care that much about, in that way.

I wouldn't know about that. Demons don't really do love.

[ A beat. ]

Other people's love... I'm not exactly cupid is what I'm saying. But people pairing off, it's happened a few times here.

[ To his horror he realized he actually could name several couples. ]

I think it's the opposite. Maybe this place actually brings people together.

[ Deep pout. ]

And that's the last grossly sentimental thing you are getting out of me today!

[Connie chuckled].

You know, that's probably a good observation. I just thought that everyone is probably hanging onto the stuff that they have back home that they wouldn't be able to have a relationship in some strange new place with someone not even from their world. But I guess it is possible that the opposite is true too.

Thank you for that Crowley. I hope you and Aziraphale have a mutually beneficial relationship without the love, now that you're married and all.

[ Actually thinking on that many people had met their other half in their own worlds... He might have mentioned that only he was too otherwise busy trying to work out if the rest meant Aziraphale was about to fall out of love with him now that the thrill was gone or if those were actually well wishes.

He pouted at the screen. ]
