[Mal's mirror came up on someone having the best worst day ever. she pulled out her mirror and aimed it at him, pulling it back enough to show the pink glitter turning white as it got close enough to him.] "Smile for the camera, because this is forever now." [This was actually better than burning the candy shop. This was too perfect. She was going to get Lydia to set up lots of prints of this for her to keep forever. In fact... ] "Hey, Lydia," [she said to the mirror, broadcasting this to everyone] "Can you get over here with your camera?"

"It was less than a fiver of candy! It was no big deal; until you made it one! You could have paid him back and dealt with me later if you were that concerned. But no, you had to ho and make sure I'd never be welcome there again. That I was staring out here with a red mark. That wasn't you caring about some old man."

"And now you are blaming me for your getting into trouble instead of accepting responsibility for your own actions."

That was really never going to fly with an angel!

"If you want to be able to return to the store you could do the right thing. Apologize to the owner and offer to make up for your poor choices. You won't get anywhere by blaming others."

"No, you don't get to take the moral high ground not after what you've done to me. I know I'm evil, I'm bad. Have I denied it even once since I got here? No. But you had a choice and you made it. Don't go getting your feathers in a twist now because you've been horrid to me throughout and some how I am not magically forgiving you because you're dressed like an Auradon choir reject."

"I had the moral high ground then as a demon and I stand on it even more firmly now as an angel. I prevented you from being being horrible to some one else, it doesn't matter how much the amount you stole would have been the act of stealing itself was wrong. Since then I have done very little to you... though I should apologize for the teapot incident."

He wouldn't if he were himself! That was entirely justified! Or so he raged as he couldn't believe the sorts of things he was hearing tumbled out of his own mouth!

"Trying to get rid of me before the teapot incident? And again, it was a little theft, it wasn't anything important or expensive! It doesn't matter!" She cut the connection to the network for now since he clearly wasn't giving her anything juicy any more. Oh, and I was the only one involved in the ice cream fight? You aren't innocent. In any of it."

"You started the ice cream fight by stealing my cone..."

He was the picture of innocence in that, which rankled now that he thought back on it. Really he should have started it.

"And I wasn't trying to 'get rid' of you. You seemed upset that you were here and your friends were not and I suggested you could return to them if you wished so you wouldn't be alone like your song hinted at... I was a demon then. If I had wanted to get rid of you I very much could have."

A harsh laugh. "No, you couldn't. You might think it's fun pushing around a little kid, and hey, I'm sure 'but she started it' is hilarious among other adults and all, but I'm not some Auradon poof princess. You couldn't MAKE me go home. Maybe you could MAKE me dead, though I doubt it, but that's about all you could MAKE me do! I am not some weak willed little simpering sap who will yes sir bow and scrape to whatever you wish. I am the daughter of the most evil villian in my whole world. I am not going to be awed and threatened by you just because you're an adult. Or... what? Is it that you're a demon that's supposed to be impressive? Because it's not. You're a sad little man who has to bully teenagers in order to enjoy himself. What? Did no little girls let you pull their pig tails when you were a child so you have to act half MY age when you're around me? Don't you lie to me, and don't you fool yourself. You have absolutely ZERO power over me and there isn't a thing in this or any other world you could MAKE me do unless I already wanted to do it. You want to try and chase me off? You think it is hilarious turning me into tea pots? Fine. Play your little games, because guess what. I'm not backing down and I'm not cowering and I am most certainly NOT afraid of you. So you want to step to me, bring it, bring your A game. Because when this is all over, I'll be the one still standing. This is MY turf and you are NOT going to chase me off of it."

Somewhere in there her eyes started ton glow green and they were a livid and bright color by the end of it.

As a general rule he didn't go around making people do anything. As a serpent he had whispered suggestions into Eve's ear but she was the one who had decided to take up the apple. He had spoken to Jesus, shown him all the Kingdoms of the world, but it had still been his choice to follow through with the Almighty's plan. And Caligula... as if anyone had ever needed to tempt that guy into evil, he was a font of it all on his own. So Crowley's feathers fluffed as he puzzled over how an attempt to build bridges with the girl had once again dissolved into this.

"I'm not sure... we are really speaking the same language, but I do think you should be careful. As an angel I can feel sorry for you and wish you might still one day come around but as a demon, if I should be so unlucky as to become one again, I think I could see that as a challenge. You're mother may be evil where you come from but demons are capable of the worst sort of things."

"Take it as a challenge if you want." she snapped. "Because that was how it was meant." she crossed her arms and lifted her chin. "I'm not letting you, or anyone else, chase me off."

"I can't think of a person here who was trying to chase you off."

Not even him.

"But if you will carry on with that attitude I do worry that could change."

"YOU WERE!" She snapped, eyes green and glaring.

"My dear, I just told you that thought had never crossed my mind."

Now if she had been a demon herself it might have been a different story, but Mal was practically human in Crowley's eyes and he had never felt the need to drive a human out. Scare them into fainting with a demonic monster head, sure... but what would be the point in anything more? It's not like a human could ever do anything to him.

"I don't believe you," she growled. "I will not swallow your lies. And I am neither dear nor yours!"

"I am sorry that is the case."

He sighed and drew his wings in close as he prepared himself to walk away, but his addled mind just had to get one more angelic thought out first.

"I will be praying you find your way."
