[As the full moon rises, a loud crash is heard in apartment 9A. The mirror is knocked from the dresser as it's thrown on its side. When it hits the floor it activates to the sound of a low whining growl. A figure can be seen kneeling on the floor, her plum colored skirt around her knees, revealing knee high leather boots. Her hair seems wilder than usual... And that's saying something. She covers her face, shaking her head.]
No... No, not again. Not here.
((ooc: Full moon Missy! Proceed with caution. Open to mirror or in the apartment.))

"If it helps... You'll be yourself again tomorrow..."

Date: 2019-09-14 10:55 pm (UTC)Missy's eyes narrow. The words triggered something in one part of her brain. She dug into that and recalled that portion of the manual. Right. Monsters lose control on the full moon and transform. Well isn't that just lovely.
Her lips curl in a snarl, "No. It doesn't help."

Date: 2019-09-15 03:18 am (UTC)A soft whining sound escapes her throat before she can stop it. One hand goes to her forehead and she stumbles backwards to sit on the bed. "I... I don't know. I've been alone for so long... perhaps it's for the best. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone."
This despite the longing, burning, ache to do just that. No... she has to fight it.

Date: 2019-09-15 04:01 am (UTC)She's about to suggest a book, but decides that if Missy's been alone for too long, a book would just be alone with embellishments.
"What about a game? I played Battleship with Ace over the mirrors when we were camping in different groups."

Date: 2019-09-15 04:10 am (UTC)"A game? Yes... yes that could do." She doesn't know what battleship is or who this Ace character is, but that wasn't a terrible idea, all things considered.

Date: 2019-09-18 02:16 am (UTC)She brought the mirror over to the kitchen table, where she'd left her drawing pad, and turned it over to a fresh page. She started drawing up the grid while she waited for Missy to get her supplies.

Date: 2019-09-24 05:20 pm (UTC)"If everyone did that, it wouldn't be a game at all. That's just cheating!"
She was grinning, though, because really, that was some serious out-of-the-box thinking.

Date: 2019-09-26 04:43 pm (UTC)"Boy, I bet no one invites you to game night. But... figuring out how to cheat against the Corroded could be pretty useful."
Like Dreamfinder said: not all nightmares are bad. Not all light things are good. Some things are both. Lydia likes walking the line between the two, testing the waters, finding where it sits. She has a feeling Missy might, too. But now isn't the best time to bring it up, she thinks. Maybe after the moon has started to wane a bit.

Date: 2019-10-01 03:32 am (UTC)There was a little voice in her head that was telling her this was the wrong sort of conversation to be having... but the power of the full moon dashed that voice against the rocks and let the darkness run wild.

Date: 2019-10-02 11:24 pm (UTC)She rolled her eyes, "Distracting and keeping them still are two different things, my dear. And you are rather limited with the primitive technology of this place. It would also depend entirely on what sort of corrupted creature you're after. Is it hungry? Give it something to eat. While it's busy eating you can sneak up and do what you must, assuming it doesn't see, smell, or hear you coming. If you set a trap and drop it in a pit, drop a cage or net or something over it or entangle it in something you'd be able to take care of it in a flash. And, of course, there's always the option of bait." She grinned, wickedly, remembering her oh so brilliant plan with Clara and the Daleks.
this conversation is going to come in super handy later ;)

Date: 2019-10-07 11:14 pm (UTC)Wait...that was rude. She shook her head a little, trying to push back the dark thoughts. "If... If you're drawing something out you presumably have a plan to handle it already."
