( Oh shit. The other version of her left? That sucks. She hadn't known her for long, but once she got over the initial weirdness of the situation, Lydia liked her a lot. It felt unfair that she didn't even get to say goodbye.

It was plain that Beetlejuice took it even harder. Literally, his hair couldn't have been a more clear indicator. Thing was, she had no idea how to properly comfort... well, anyone, much less Beetlejuice. But she felt like she had to try. )

Wanna try and categorize the species of snakes down at the Bayou to find the scariest one? ( Lydia spoke in a tone like it was any other day. Only her audio was on, so if Beej wanted to pretend he didn't hear her, it gave them both an out. )

[Honestly, the only reason why Rice is literate in any vague sense is because of the training the Doman's gave her while she was a mercenary. She needed to be able to read the messages they sent her, after all.
