Hello, all you lovely people, and welcome to our newest Apprentices! Sorry for being so scarce lately, darlings, but I assure you, there's good reason for it.

For those who may not know, I'm The Great Sylvando, entertainer extraordinaire. And I've been working on something absolutely fabulous behind the scenes. And you know what that is? 

As of today, yours truly has officially taken over management of the Main Street Opera House! Isn't that wonderful?

Granted, it will take some work to get the old place ship-shape again- saying that the previous tenant wasn't much of a housekeeper is something of an understatement-, but it shouldn't be too long before it's bringing music and laughter to this lovely place once again!

Do watch your mirrors for more announcements, and I hope to see you all there!

[When people walk by the opera house now, they'll find that the marquee is at last lit up once again. It currently displays the following message. 

NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
GRAND REOPENING COMING SOON! - DATE TBA

And on the door a smaller sign is taped: 'Performers, Stage Hands, and General Staff wanted. Inquire within, or contact Apprentice Sylvando via mirror network.']

All of it that I can get, honestly. Hades left things quite a mess when he vacated the place.

As for performances, all I can offer is my violin playing. Is that useful?

It certainly will be, Connie darling! Though as for how and when, you'll have to wait and see.

Though for the moment, I do need more of a hand with cleaning than with comedy if you're willing.

Absolutely. I mean, I wield a mean broom at the Arcade as it is. What kind of work does the place need? I can't do much in the way of carpentry ... [that was always more Ben's area of expertise] ... but I'll paint and haul junk out.

You want a salary, honey, you're going to have to work for it. And there are only four boxes, so I'm afraid you're out of luck there.

I will eventually; I'll let you know when auditions open if you'd like to try out.

Right now, though, what I need is help with cleaning. Hades left the place in quite a state.

[He wasn’t going to volunteer for cleaning. The only reason his own apartment wasn’t condemned was due to the Lydiae.

Each with their own method of demon-wrangling, of course.]

If he’s missing, I vote we don’t go looking.

Or something. His real home is in the Bayou, so when it was purified, he went back to live there. Though I imagine we'll still be seeing him around from time to time.

Too bad. I, for one, could exist very happily never seeing the guy again.

Honestly? I think that may be true for a great many people here. But pleasant or not, he is necessary to the balance of things here.

Though it is good to know he's not darkening the doorstep of Main Street proper anymore.
