BD to 5/8 & Locked to Apprentices (No Merlin/Hades/Kingdom Spirits)

Hi, everyone. I know most of you have met me, but to new folks who haven't? Hi, I'm Lydia Deetz, one of the Princesses here. And since it's my duty to help heal the Kingdoms, I figured we need to all have a talk.

Dreamfinder, the Kingdom Spirit that's supposed to help protect Main Street from the Corrosion, is officially missing. I haven't been able to get hold of him, and the watchmaker in the shop under his apartment hasn't seen him for weeks. I'm pretty sure at this point that it's the reason the Train Station was able to be taken over by Corrosion.. A few of us have been gathering whatever information we could, and I know those of you who went to the train station might have some things worth sharing, too. So I've set up a meeting space in the Graven Image Gallery so we can all share what we know, and come up with a plan. Maybe a couple of search parties and a couple of investigative ones. I know a lot of you are better leaders, better strategists, better a lot of things. That's why I want us to all talk about this together. MT had suggested a while ago that we were the reason people are so upset, and I"m beginning to think she might be right, but ... it's not the only thing we need to fix. And we need to talk about it.

The Gallery is next to the coffee shop, inside the mausoleum in the flower garden. I'll post a little map here on the 3M once I close this message, and I'll meet everyone who wants to come at 8 PM.

[Everything Lydia had brought up was logical. Dreamfinder's absence was likely the source for the locals discord and the subsequent business with the train station. Imagination was power here, so it was even possible that the resurgence of fear was building the conduit the corrosion needed to penetrate deeper into Main Street. If something wan't done to stop it...]

This sounds like an excellent idea. Do you need any help with the preparations? [Being a resourceful person the answer was likely to be no, but he thought he should offer]

Atem, you're the best. Um. We're going to need a lot of chairs in the Main Street Room. And another table in the Relaxation Room for snacks. Nobody likes to go to long talks about anything unless you can bribe them with food. At least, that's what Dad always said about his real estate meetings.

She almost felt a little bad about the prank box of chocolates she'd asked for from Crowley. Almost. But she was holding on to it in case it became necessary. If she trotted it out right away, the correlation to Crowley's involvement would be far too clear, and they could have a fire on their hands. Better to wait and keep it in reserve as a secret weapon when her roomie was being particularly stubborn.

"Any requests for the snack table? Just saying 'candy' is not specific enough."

"Oh wow! The mirror thing has a person inside! OH! You're the person with the weird bumps all over your face that the demon guy said was normal! Hi! I'm Elan, and I think I'm supposed to be helping, so count me and Banjo in, okay?"

[Yes, his hands have three fingers yeah. No he does not have a nose or ears, yes his eyes are actually different sizes. And he is totally just a step up from being a stick figure....]

Well, this was new. He looked like one of her first-grade doodles come to life, and that was ... going to take some definite getting used to. But he was enthusiastic, and apparently Beej had been on his welcome wagon, so that was a good start.

"Nice to meet you, Elan. Thanks for agreeing to help... But: who or what is Banjo, and what do you mean by bumps?"

Oh no. OH NO. If she had a zit, right now, after talking to everyone like that?! Lydia wasn't usually vain, but that was embarrassing enough that she might actually wear her veil hat to the meeting.

[Right, getting distracted, she shook her head to clear it.] "I'm not fully sure I understand all of what's going on, but if someone needs help you can count on me.
