Oh! There we are! Give me technology over magic, easier to suss out.

[She shakes her head.]

Now that things have calmed down a bit, I can' help but be a might curious. Atem told me that there are folks here from all over? Different worlds and all. Well! Anyone mind if I pepper them with questions? The usual sort only, nothing beyond where are you fro and what's it like.

So, there's a newspaper office here- it's gorgeous if a bit outdated. Does anyone know if I could borrow a type writer from it to sort of keep everyone of us in the loop?

Isn't that who names people where you're from?

Actually, it might have been my mommy from when I was born who named me, but I never really met her that I can remember. My mommy and daddy adopted me when I was just a baby, so I might have already had my name then.

Why borrow the typewriter? Why not just take over the entire office? They only produce the lamest of papers... Crosswords where every answer is American History.

We would not be missing anything if some one new took the place over. Maybe we could get some actual news.

I'm not cut out for editorial work just yet, but I can probably manage to make a pest of myself anyways. Ask this or that where I need to. But I really do want a typewriter.

If you want a typewriter so badly why not just take one? No one would stop you. There are no police to speak of, no consequences for your actions... Though I don't see why you would settle for a typewriter when you could get a laptop.
