Back on Friday night, the people living in the castle might have been treated to the sight of silk threads being shot at their windows, and outside walls for a long time before the now very fat larva goes to climbing to the middle of it. The silk spitting continued until a very large cocoon was made and was resting against the castle's walls. Whenever people came near the cocoon they could hear the faint sound of a heartbeat and when a light directed at it, they could see the metamorphoses taking place within.
Two night later, on the night of a full moon, that was when the inside of the cocoon started to pulsate with light from within, a warble could be heard with each pulse. This lasted for a few moments before stopping and clicks and chirps could be heard.
Then there was no sound or movements for a couple of moments before a claw emerges from the cocoon and then another. Pieces of the cocoon fell to the ground below with more falling as a moth's head breaks through. Mothra lets out some chirps as she breaks out of her cocoon and then crawl to the ground below, at her full true height and size. She kept her wings folded against herself, still wet from being inside the cocoon, not shaking herself or cleaning herself dry. Inside she goes to unfurl her wings to their full 803 feet of wingspan, her body glowing and lighting up a small space around her before goes to let out a territorial roar for all the corrupted to hear that this castle and those within are under her divine protection.
The divine queen and goddess has finally come to this kingdom. All hail to the Queen.
[ooc; Mothra is finally an adult and no longer a chonky baby! I meant to have this post up on Friday to have more interaction with the cocooning portion but feel free to have your characters have noticed the cocooning and or interacted with Mothra during it. I am good with just about anything!]

Her tiny voice echoed up the pipe unintentionally amplifying her voice.
"Can you hear me?"

"I won't hurt you, not like I could... mice don't eat moths and I've never met a moth who wanted to eat a mouse either so..."
Mothra was so large that it only took a few paces through the grass before she was at one of the massive tree trunk legs of the creature. Mrs. Brisby reached out a paw to touch her, fully prepared to run away the instant it seemed wise to do so.
