[ By now people would have seen the ads created by Lydia. Full sized billboard advertisements of the various Halloween candy treats on offer at the local candy store that had been hung up around town to tempt the locals into buying some much needed festive snacks. There were Hitchhiking Ghost cookies with cream-filled chocolate puffs, Worms and Dirt cake, Poison candy apples, Creepy marshmallows, and Candy Corn Shaped Rice Treats. But the one Crowley held up was a good deal different than the others. ]

All of our Halloween treats are still available but if any of you were hoping to get one of these cookies you better stop in early in the morning. They have been selling out before noon! Chef can't bake enough of them to keep them in stock.

Remember to get something to pass out to the kids... Do they do Trick or Treating here? If not they should, it's a lot of fun, gives the kids a reason to stay out late and cause trouble.

[Video - Late in the Evening // Less Responsible Party Demon ]

[The local bar was hopping with all the local spirits both of the wine variety and of the recently departed. Crowley was right in the thick of it with them, performing some sort of arm flapping ghostly dance the more ectoplasmic see-through revelers called, 'The Incorporeal'. ]

Aziraphale!

[Crowley was drunk dialing. ]

Benn thinkin'...

[That didn't come out right and he swaggered off the dance floor in the thought that maybe less distraction would help him pick the right words. ]

We need a dungeon. Castle has to have one right? What good is a castle without a dungeon?

[One of the female haunts floated over to him about that time to place a cheek on his kiss and try and drag him back to the rest of the party. She was shooed away. ]

Annabelle, real party animal that one.
Or a basket maybe? Do they make fire proof baskets? Nah... all wicker with those holes in them... s'no good. Maybe you could magic up some kind of steel box with air holes in it? A few more hours, it's all I've got... I don't want to be on the loose when the moon rises. You'll lock me away, won't you?

[When Annabelle returned a second time Crowley allowed himself to be swept back to the dance floor. It was either that or give into the odd sensation of wanting to cry. No! Booze and drink that would solve his problems! He toasted the screen before ending the call. ]

Who says the dead don't know how to live?

You go out in disguise and shake down the neighbors for candy.

The snake is a cookie and you eat it, but only if you get down here in time to buy one before they are gone. And literally only you and Chef think it's cute! It's meant to be scary...

[Strokes her chin in thought.] No, I like it! I will come get it! But I guess I should get Janet and Missy something too though. So maybe I just can't.

And yes! Punwheel cookies are my favorite! The Gorgon makes them all the time for me and Hugo!

[ And as he already memorized the steps he reenacted the dance for her, spilling a good portion of his drink in the process and not even caring. ]

It's called, 'The Incorporeal'!

Nawww, you warn them that if they don't give you candy then you will get them back by playing a trick on them. That's why it's called Trick or Treat.

You could buy three of them? Or, even better, buy three of everything and charge it to Janet's account. She won't mind. Just tell her it's more eating training... and wear a rain slicker when you give her the snack you bought for her.

[ Just saying, you will thank him for it. ]

I shouldn't ask but what makes it a punwheel? It tells a lame joke when you go to eat it?

Okay!! [Ivy's really easy to convince of anything, and very obedient, as Missy already discovered.]

Stations would be more fun than walking down that one long... long... loooonnnggg... hallway in the 'partment building. Though if we could find some twins we could give some one a good scare.

With that sort of attitude Annabelle will dance you into the floor! Literally maybe if she decides to perform the Incorporeal in it's original form.

[Eleanor was out to get a few drinks and actually chill out, herself, for a bit when she saw the big ghostly party. She winced a little, since the ghosts didn't like her very much. But Crowley was in the middle of it carrying on about something or other. Shaking her head, she walked over.]

Well, I mean, you've partied with me a few times and I think I'm pretty fun.

[One of the ghosts tugged on her hair, she flailed a little, trying to get it off of her.]

[ Crowley huffed a gruff sound of agreement. ]

Parents won't let the kids out otherwise... got, curfews and stuff.

[ Crowley sauntered over to grab Eleanor by the waist and pull her into his hip, away from Svenn and his grabby hands. ]

Candy Store

=[since she worked right across the street, it wasn't hard for Lydia to pop in on her way to work. she's carrying a bag from the Emporium in her hands]

Wow, my cookie invention is really selling that fast?! I hope the others are going, too. I can't believe how well the billboards turned out! This is like a dream come true. I can't thank you enough, but ...

[she sets the bag down on the table] I had to get the manager's permission, and tell her it was for you. Luckily, she said she knows you. I just ... I wanted to thank you.

[inside the bag is a bottle of red wine, a roll of maple summer sausage, a wedge of smoked cheddar, and a fresh, crusty baguette. it's the kind of stuff her Dad used to serve at his cocktail parties, and since Crowley's a classy guy who had bemoaned the lack of culture on Main Street, she figured he might appreciate it. she also knows what day it is tomorrow, and thought he deserved something to take the edge off of it, something nice.]
