He enjoys the spreading out, more than he can say. It feels easy. Comfortable. Familiar. He tries not to smile directly at him and sits back to accept his water with thanks. He shifts a little himself so that the edge of his shoe brushes casually against Crowley's. Just a small touch. Not completely unusual for them. It's good to feel connected even in a small way. It's good to feel not quite so alone. o matter how much they argue or...how much they might be torn apart as well they should be.

Well, it doesn't matter. At least not right now. What matters right now is them in this place and figuring things out-- helping where they can-- surviving how they can. Together.
That word makes him feel dangerously warm and he tells himself firmly that it cannot last so not to let himself get used to it. But for now, he can at least indulge, can't he? Just to make things that much easier.
"Of course, my dear. A fresh start is just what we need here. I'm feeling much better, which helps vastly. And you know! It's not all bad. We don't have to worry about anyone looking too closely over our shoulders." Which didn't mean they could be sloppy because the Almighty was always there.
