Looking for an Audience [Video]

Hey, guys.

[the mirror shows Richie leaning against one of the pinball machines in the Arcade, his broom resting on the wall beside him. a quiet holiday with his two best friends did him a world of good, and he seems like he's pretty chill, not his usual manic self]

I'm looking to get a new stand-up routine together for the spring, but I can write all the jokes I want and they won't be worth the paper I chicken-scratch 'em on without some test subjects. Anyone feel like being on call for my running some material by them? It's not gonna be for a little while, I'm still writing, but ... maybe by February I should have something solid put together.

Any takers?

Famous last words, man. -- Seriously, though, I'm mostly kidding. If I want to play the Opera House once it's available, I've got to keep it ... I'm thinking at least PG-13 for most of the shows.

It isn't ready yet - maybe a couple more weeks. I've got the start of a set, but it needs some bulking up.

But yeah, the Opera House is pretty cool. I haven't been inside, I've only ever peeked in the windows because that Hades jerk was running it ... but a friend of mine used to play the piano they've got parked outside.

So Hades was living in the Opera House some time ago? That was before the Bayou was purified, right? (He was among the Apprentices participated in clearing it from the Corrosion after all.) It sounds like that friend is a great pianist, are they a professional or a really good amateur?

He was, and it was, yeah. I guess he's got some schmancy place over there now that it's safe, I don't know. I don't really care, either, he's a total jerk and I'm glad the House can get used for its actual purpose now.

I think ... she was somewhere in between. She'd lived a hell of a long time, so she was good at a lot of things.
