So all these spooks floating around town? Big rum fans. I know! I didn't expect it either!

[He handed a mug filled to the brim with rum over to a ghostly gentleman who tipped his head in thanks before floating off with his drink. ]

If any of the living would like to get in on this before its all gone I've got a few barrels hidden in the back alley. I'd also be open to the idea of taking orders... You know for anything difficult to find that the Emporium doesn't carry. I have some contacts that can get their hands on anything.

Ah, yes. I have noticed these spirits going about their business. They don't really seem very unkind, however. It's nice to meet you, by the way. I don't believe we've met!

[He nods his head towards the barrels.]

I may be interested in a glass, of that, however. There's much to say for a fine bit of rum - so many...creative applications!

Creative applications of rum? What do you mean, like rum cake or... more along the lines of filling a swimming pool full and swimming in it?

Oh! Dreadfully sorry, Crowley.

My name is Khadgar. [It's really a novelty, running into people who don't know him, and don't know his name. It's a bit nice, really - he never wanted to be on a pedestal or unapproachable! He chuckles a little, looking a bit mischievous.]

Oh, rum cake, rum toddies, various cocktails - my former mentor loved a particular one that we might be able to substitute the rye with the rum for a bit of fun. As for the swimming pool - you might need nose plugs to survive that amount of alcohol!

I could have survived it without the plugs before, but yeah... now magically sobering up would be difficult. Better skip that but I could go for a rum cake. Do you bake?

I used to be able to conjure up a fine sweet roll, now and again, but as my magical abilities have been stemmed in this place, I have to resort to doing such things the old fashioned way.

I suppose there is no time to learn like the present!

Its a drag this new magic. Never works like you think it should, until you get used to it.

What were you before that you even had magic?

Oh, I was just a human, but I was a mage. A spellcaster, and a fairly decent one, I'd like to think. [It's a massive, intensely massive understatement, there.]

Magic never really works quite how you think it will, until you get the hang on it, I've found. When I was a youth, I had quite the accident that left me marked! [He laughs a little, kindly.]

As long as it was actual magic instead of stage magic... Never saw any point in faking it.

Haha, no. No, it was very much actual magic, not stage magic. When I want to get out of a pair of handcuffs or a box, I'll just use a proper spell or a lockpick.
