[It isn't exactly a big deal if someone left this place, at least, not as long as they weren't Important to Beetlejuice.

He didn't really know Mrs. Brisby, aside from seeing her briefly on the Network, and hearing her name from Lydia. So, he was fully prepared to go about his day as usual, when he caught that last comment.

I'm not an expert on love, that's more angel territory, but you do get on. You have entirely different backgrounds, total opposites, it doesn't matter. You care about each other, look out for the other, like being in the same room together... Thats a biggie.
