They say you never forget how to ride a bicycle, yeah?
[Rose pans her mirror down from her waaaaay tall bicycle.]
I really hope that's true, because I don't much like my chances of getting back on it if I fall. Wish me luck!
[She sets out, and so far, so good.] Okay, so anyone else get jobs yet and all that? Give me sound my first night out, since I didn't wanna risk my cybud up here.
[Exclusively for her "roommates," there's a pair of cupcakes, one for 12 and Michael respectively. 12's is banana with edible ball-bearings, and Michael's is devil's chocolate with a paperclip. Both have messages.]

Scrooge is just synonymous with someone who's tight with money where I'm from. Rich, but cheap. Just hoards it all until he's got a bit of a death scare. I wonder if it's a translation thing. Like McDuck would make him Scottish in my world, so maybe the languages just naturally try to find whatever's the closest equivalent??
[And she laughs about the invention.] He sounds amazing. Better than my Dad, but don't tell anyone I said that. A timetub? [All the giggles.] I'm guessing it was to speed up baths, not to time travel naked. Bit inconvenient that would be. [More giggles.] Sounds like your Gyro needs one o' me then. Someone who's good at testing things and figuring out what could go wrong. [So many giggles.] Luckily Dad's a bit like you, good at the marketing, but since he makes his stuff, he doesn't usually push it too early. But it's a whole lotta politics and stuff I try to avoid. And DO avoid, come to think, or I wouldn't be here.
Ahhhh... maybe he will come? But I kind of... almost don't want him to either. [Makes a face!!!] He belongs home with my Mum and Tony. And any other version of him wouldn't know me or our history, and yeah, he'd enjoy the madness, and getting to meet the Doctor, yeah, but saving the multiverse, fighting the Darkness; or Corrosion, is a lot more my thing. Fielding politics, marketing stuff, running Torchwood, that's definitely his. Blimey, he'd get in so much trouble with Hades. He'd want to punch him or something I just know it. The Doctor's got way more ego than Dad, but the Doctor is used to dafter people in charge and with more power and still who need his help. Oh, and magic is completely impossible in Pete -- my Dad's Universe, so he'd have a bullocks of a time adjusting. Nahhhh, better he not.
Besides, I got to escape having mostly any boys talks with him since he wasn't around for twenty years, different universe and all, and by the time he met me, he already was working with Mickey or Ricky, and knew the Doctor. It'd just get... [Facepalm.] Nightmarish. When I was separated from the Doctor I didn't date, so... [Winces.] Again, that's assuming time didn't flub everything up so that he wasn't from before meeting me and the Doctor, because otherwise I'd be like some creepy stalker from the future and --- yeaaaaaaaaaah best not.
