I admit times seem a little hard and we are inclined to be grumpy. That Dreamfinder is unfortunately missing again and that the townspeople aren't fond of us. I do believe that is less to do with us and more to do with --well-- times have been hard and Dreamfinder has been a bit concerned or was the last time I spoke -- Anyway, the important thing is! To keep our own spirits up and to be kind and understanding to one another as we may.

My last message I was a bit of--well a bit tetchy. So I'd like to apologize to anyone I got off on the wrong foot.

And especially perhaps to you, er, Beetlejuice. [what a name] I would most sincerely like to apologize to you for the horrible way I've treated you. Demon or not, you don't deserve such a hard time and that you tease others, well [it's just a reflection of your own insecurities really] no one is perfect.

Of course it is perfectly within your rights not to accept my extended hand of friendship and apology, but it is there for you whenever you wish it.

Not even an Angel is Perfect.

It really would. [he sighs] It would also help if we stopped spreading graffiti and things all over town as if we owned the place. But you can't talk to some people.

This is their home, you know? It is the only place they have to be. They are suffering and are at risk of dying or worse. And yet so many of us treat this as the greatest inconvenience to them rather than making an effort to understand and feel compassion or empathy for these poor people. Even if we came here not by choice, we were certainly chosen and I feel we should make good on it.

[He gave a one-shouldered shrug.]

I admit, I'm not doing fake cartwheels over being here. Lydia being here and liking the place is about the only thing I can say for tolerating it at first. And if helping her means helping this place I'll do it.

[The being chosen part, well, he decided not to regale the angel with tales of being summoned and being instructed to do supremely unpleasant things, in favor of keeping a truce. Since the guy went out of his way to apologize to Beetlejuice, and the demon actually did appreciate it.]

I suppose we could play Scouts and clean up the graffiti.

Well I can't condone that. [dear lord] But we may certainly defend the kingdom together with out unnecessary carnage.
