The sudden expletive makes him want to laugh while at the same time filling him with a sort of effervescent warmth that sends champagne like tingles all the way to his ears. He presses his lips together and takes a moment to rearrange his face into something not highly amused by this. He clears his throat but still sounds warmly amused as he says:

"In that case, maybe we should trade places, my dear." He pauses and then just gives into the temptation. "As you seem to have missed."
